This Sunday! October 5 - Blessing of the Animals - Get your Blessing Card here

On Sunday October 5, 2025 at 12 noon we will be observing the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. Weather permitting* we will gather in the back yard of the church (around the fire pit) and bless all those creatures who are in the care of people. All are welcome - furry, feathered, scaled, or shelled. To date the largest animal Mo Kim has blessed has been an alpaca, and the strangest has been a bearded dragon. If your pet cannot travel you may bring a photograph to be blessed instead, or if you are not a pet owner, plants and stuffies will also be included in the benediction. In addition we will remember all those pets who have died in the past year and we invite you to come and celebrate the special places that all aspects of creation have in our lives.

* rain location under the portico outside of Dove Hall
