FACTS Account Reminder
Please remember to regularly monitor your family's FACTS account with CHS. Incidental billings, charges that are not tuition and laptop related, are entered into your student's FACTS account on an as-needed basis. Incidental billings do not draft out of your bank account automatically. You can make payments online via your FACTS account or by sending payment directly to the school in the form of cash, check, or money order. Please continue to regularly monitor your account for incidental billings and contact Anne Marie DeMatteo at with any questions.
Yearbook Advertising Available
Putting an ad in the Charisma yearbook is a great way to honor your Junior or Senior student and commemorate their hard work and achievements. We have multiple advertisement opportunities available in the form of Junior Blessings and Senior Love Ads. Please follow the instructions on to order your junior and senior yearbook ads! You can also visit our page on the CHS website to order your yearbook for 2022.
COVID-19 Cancellations and Postponements
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, some of our events have been canceled or postponed in order to protect our CHS community and to remain in compliance with Diocesan COVID-19 protocols.

• The Grandparents Day Mass has been postponed to this Spring. Look for details to be announced closer to the date.
• The College Fair scheduled for 9/14 has been canceled. Unfortunately, many of the college reps are not traveling due to COVID-19 concerns or difficulties related to
Hurricane Ida.
• The Homecoming Game and Tailgate Party will go on as planned on Friday, October 15. However, the Homecoming Dance has been canceled due to Covid concerns.

Important Policies and Protocols

New COVID-19 Exposure Quarantine Protocols
The Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee Office for Catholic Schools has updated the Quarantines and Exposures Protocols section that is part of the Return to Campus Plan originally published in early August. The new protocols went into effect on 8/27/2021 and are based on guidance from the FL Department of Education and the CDC. Click here to read the updated document.

CHS Visitor Protocol
To minimize risk to the health of all, the Diocesan Policy for Visitor Protocol limits all visitors to all of our Diocesan Catholic schools during the COVID-19 Pandemic. All visitors on campus will report to the Front Office and potential exposure to COVID questions will be asked. Visitors may be asked to sign a waiver and the school reserves the right to check temperatures. Visitors to the campus are required to wear masks.

Lunch Protocol
Lunch may not be dropped off for students. Students have the option to bring their lunch from home or purchase it in our Student Life Center. If a parent provides snacks for a club meeting or event, they must be store-purchased and individually store-wrapped. No homemade snacks may be brought in for any event.. Thank you for helping us to maintain these important protocols.

Parents & Students' Responsibilities for Handling Early Dismissals
Students must bring a note from the parent to the Front Office in the morning before 7:45 a.m. if he/she will need to be dismissed early that day for any reason. The school is unable to dismiss students early if they did not bring in this note from the parent prior to school on the day of the needed dismissal. This is true whether the student will return to school that day or not. Please do not call the Front Office during the school day to request that your child be dismissed at that time. Also, please remember our policy that students may not be dismissed within 30 minutes of the dismissal time at the end of any day.

Parents' Responsibility Regarding Student Absence from School
All parents and students must adhere to the following:
  • If your child is going to be absent for a short period of time (1-3 days), please call the Front Office (850-436-6400) by 8 a.m. and leave a message on the attendance mailbox (#2 on our phone system menu), letting us know your child will be out that day. You must also send an absence excuse note in with your child when they next return to school.

  • If your child is going to be absent for a prolonged period of time (more than 3 days) for whatever reason (death in the family requiring travel, a family trip, a serious illness or injury, surgery, etc.), please call Mrs. Pam Acromite (850-380-5889) and report the full details regarding your child's absence (expected length of time, nature of the absence, etc.). You must also send an absence excuse note in with your child when they next return to school. Thank you!
