The Carrollton High School wind ensemble was one of only three high school groups selected in the state to perform at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) conference held in Athens on Jan. 31. Only the most exceptional musical groups are invited to perform after a highly competitive and rigorous application process, making this invitation a rare achievement.

Coastal connections, exploring Jekyll Island

Supported by funding through the CCS Education Foundation, students can have unforgettable experiences through field trips that bring classroom learning to life. From class in the salt marsh to observing sea creatures, CMS students enjoyed these interactive learning experiences on Jekyll Island.

Celebrating being 100 days smarter!

Our youngest Trojans enjoyed dressing up for a 100th Day of School celebration this week. All their wisdom is catching up to them, with grey hairs to prove it!

S'more fraction fun!

CUES fifth grade classes transformed their rooms into campsites to bring multiplying fractions to life. From breaking up pieces of chocolate for s'mores to calculating the number of camping supplies they would need, these teachers created memorable and rigorous learning experiences.

Ben Scott Sports Auction tickets on sale now!


Tickets are on sale for the 38th annual Ben Scott Sports Auction on March 21 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets cost $125 for two people, which includes food and drinks and entry into a cash raffle with a top prize of $10,000—and additional prizes of $1,000, $750, and $250. Proceeds support more than 900 Carrollton High School athletes across 26 sports, funding items such as jackets, plaques, championship rings, uniforms, travel meals, and more.
