THE MISSION CHURCH
CHURCH REOPEN ANNOUNCEMENT
THE MISSION CHURCH WILL REOPEN FOR SERVICES ON
SUNDAY, JUNE 21
Last week, Governor Cuomo announced that churches in NY State entering Phase 2 would be allowed to open at a 25% capacity limit. Fortunately, our Pastoral Staff has already developed a plan for reopening at this threshold and we will soon be ready to open for public worship The Mission Church.

This Sunday, June 14th, we are conducting a soft opening of our church for our staff and essential volunteers by invitation only to test our protocols for disinfection and crowd control. Having completed this "test service," we expect The Mission Church to be open for public services on SUNDAY, JUNE 21.

Please be aware that during this transition back to normalcy, our services will be a little different.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
In order to stay within our capacity limits, we will require each person and families to sign up for specific services. This can be done very easily by visiting www.myconnectgroupmc.com and clicking on the service time you wish to attend.

SPECIAL SERVICE TIMES
During this phase where we only have 25% capacity limit; we are launching 3 service times for you and your family to choose from. These services will be at 9:00am, 10:30am, & 12:00pm for one hour each.

CAFE AND LOBBY WILL BE CLOSED
Upon entry of the building, everyone will be greeted warmly and directed into the sanctuary. The lobby, cafe and lobby seating areas will be closed.

DO NOT FEEL PRESSURED TO ATTEND
If you do not feel comfortable coming to church just yet, we completely understand. This is why our MC Online Services will continue throughout this phasing process. If you are immune compromised or at risk in any way, please stay home and continue to use every precaution available to you. MC Online will continue to stream Sunday services at 9:00am and 11:00am at www.missionchurch.com .

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES ARE SUSPENDED
Unfortunately, we will not be providing children’s ministry or opening the nursery until we can we can staff, disinfect and serve our children comfortably under these phasing conditions. Parents, please use your discretion knowing that these accommodations will not be provided. We're very sorry for this, but please be patient. This is not forever! Just as we phase back to normal - which we hope is very soon.

FACE COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED
We will be requiring everyone to wear face coverings. Additionally, we will maintain social distancing protocols as recommended by the CDC. Families will be grouped together and seated six feet away from other families. When the service ends, everyone will be immediately dismissed from the building so our team can prepare for the next service.

EXTREME SANITIZATION PROTOCOLS
You can be assured that our building will exceed state and CDC recommendations for proper sanitization of surfaces and spaces. Supplies of hand sanitizer will be available. Bathrooms will be monitored and cleaned between each use. We will use every resource we have to keep the building clean including the use of a disinfecting fogger between services. Be confident that you and your family are coming into a clean, sanitized sanctuary.
