Announcing the launch of our updated Value in Staffing (ViS) pilot! |
Over two-thirds of health centers recently reported that they lost 5 – 25% of their workforce in the last six months. Staffing is a critical challenge for all FQHCs. To help, Community Health Ventures is relaunching the Value in Staffing (ViS) program.
ViS is currently in a pilot phase, but the retooled program is open to all health centers that would like to participate. ViS contracts with traditional permanent placement and locum tenens services. The program offers special features, including health center discounts, and benefits like price transparency from some of the most recognizable and reputable names in the workforce.

In April, the company's Chief Revenue Officer, Katy Cohen, led a delegation to Capitol Hill to lobby with other industry leaders on behalf of key legislation aimed at improving the nation’s oral health, including the Strengthening Medicaid Incentives for Licensees Enrolled in Dental Act, or SMILED Act. It would mandate comprehensive dental coverage for adults with Medicaid in all states and address administrative burdens for dentists who participate in Medicaid, respectively.
