76 DAYS HAS WRAPPED
An update from 76 DAYS director, Joe Wein:

With immense gratitude to the wonderful community of St. Croix, we are wrapped! The support to share Steven's story was overwhelming. Joe Wein, Steven Callahan and Roger Hatfield set out on a boat generously provided by Rich and Carol at Gold Coast Yachts

Towing the raft, managing the supplies, filming in the water at night - it was a challenge. Sometimes tethered to to the boat, sometimes set adrift, Joe floated on an authentic 40 year-old, 6-man Avon life raft in the Atlantic Ocean with a camera mounted to his chest. Roger, our Marine Coordinator, captained the boat while Steven consulted for accuracy and recreated the ever-changing contraptions mounted to the raft. Blake Gardner brought his drones and landed them on deck in the open sea. Under water, Henry Tonnemacher shot scuba and Miguel Lenart, his son, and Hector aided with the fishing vessel. We'd also like to thank the Coast Guard for allowing us to fire flares from the raft one moonless evening (and thank you to all who called in, it was just us).

It was a tight schedule with a lot of moving parts, but we got it all in. Thank you to the incredible people of St. Croix for sharing your talents and your dinner tables. We will keep you updated! For more, read the article from The St. Croix Source.

CID Film Of The Month
"YELLOWFACE"
Directed by Jennifer Lin
Produced by Jennifer Lin, Jon Funabiki, & Cory Stieg

Racial stereotypes abound in beloved ballets—hiding in plain sight in a centuries-old art form. In this day and age, how do these offensive roles perpetuate prejudice and hobble ballet’s efforts to appeal to modern audiences? YELLOWFACE follows dancers Phil Chan and Georgina Pazcoguin as they challenge the global dance world to rid such beloved classics as The Nutcracker and La Bayadère of outdated stereotypes of Asians and make ballet more inclusive.
