We started the meeting with a celebration of Earth Day and many of the partners shared pictures of their plant babies and shared information on what they are doing to invest in our planet.
Jack Dailey from the Legal Aid Society of San Diego joined us and presented how the Consumer Center for Health Education and Advocacy (CCHEA) is supporting and informing clients in our community about the importance of renewing their Medi-cal benefits and where to get support. Joanna Oboza from the 211 San Diego/CIE Team shared some information on CalAim Resources that are currently available on the 211 San Diego/CIE shared resource database here and walked us through how to search for those resources.
211 San Diego/CIE is working on a CalAIM-specific webpage that will summarize important county and state resources and organize all local CalAIM-related services by the provider and by health insurance plan. More information coming soon! Reach out to [email protected]for any questions.
Shelly Parks from the 211 San Diego/CIE Team shared information about the upcoming 2023 Virtual National CIE Summittaking place June 7-8 where our opening speaker, Alex Briscoe from California Children's Trustwill be discussing the fundamentals of reimagining to cultivate community-serving systems.
