We welcomed the San Diego Indian Health Center as a new CIE partner. Johnny Vo, their Senior Manager of Compliance, shared information about their programs and services and talked about ways to collaborate with other CIE partners moving forward.
Danielle Morgan from the San Diego Black Infant Health Program, which offers one-on-one, culturally affirming support to pregnant and postpartum Black women, gave an overview of their services and explained the referral options, including a new closed-loop (direct) referral opportunity within CIE.
Keila Gomez, the Program Assistant at 211/CIE San Diego, provided an overview of the new CIE Digital Signature Desk Aid, designed to help users navigate the digital signature process.
Aidee Roman, the Community Partnership Manager at 211/CIE San Diego, led a discussion about closed-loop (direct) referral opportunities within the CIE system. She reviewed the available domains in CIE, guided participants on how to find the list of opportunities, and demonstrated how to search for them on the CIE platform. The discussion also covered the use of referrals, identified existing gaps, and assessed interest in future workshops for those who wish to become options for closed-loop (direct) referrals. This topic will be further discussed at an upcoming CIE meeting.
