CIE PARTNER MEETING RECAP

Hi CIE Partners,

Thank you so much for joining us at the CIE partner gathering on February 22, 2024.

During the meeting, we celebrated Black History Month and the wonderful contributions of black thought leaders, musicians, artists, and local leaders across our communities.

We highlighted Mama's Kitchen and learned how they support San Diego residents at risk of malnutrition due to critical illnesses such as HIV, cancer, congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney disease by providing them with nutritious meals.

The CIE San Diego team shared their experience visiting Mama's Kitchen headquarters in an immersive experience where they got to tour their volunteer center to see how the meals are prepared and bagged, taste the nutritious meals they deliver to their clients, and meet members of their team!

Zenia Torres, our wonderful, Director of Partner Engagement shared her experience visiting The Chicano Federation's Community Resource Center which provides clothing, food, diapers, and other essential items to families in need and supports them by finding other local resources that can help.

We shared local resources that are still responding to the recovery efforts of the flooding event last month, impacting thousands of San Diego County residents.

The CIE San Diego Partner Experience team announced enhancements coming to the Partner Communtiy soon including

An automatic Email Notification Campaign to promote CIE account utilization
Dashboard enhancements will provide guided language and referral navigation support.
