CIE PARTNER MEETING RECAP

Hi CIE Partners,

Thank you so much for joining us and welcoming the first CIE partner gathering of 2024!

During the meeting, we learned about New Year traditions and practices and set intentions for the new year!

We gave a huge shout-out to our partners for their participation in the point-in-time count and highlighted the response to the county-wide flood impact, which includes county, local, and community resources like Alert San Diego, the Flood Impact Damage Assessment Survey, shelters, locations to get sandbags, and other resources that support the recovery efforts.

We announced a new direct referral opportunity, Community Care Coordination for Veterans offered by PATH San Diego serving Veterans who are justice-involved within six months and experiencing housing insecurity.

We shared information about an upcoming Direct Referral Workshop on February 21, 2024, and April 17, 2024. You can learn more and register to attend here.

Lastly, the CIE San Diego team provided updates on the Justice Impacted and CalAIM workgroups, Community Voice Advisory Committee, Client Portal, data integration projects, and updates on CIE's national work!

The City of San Diego's Economic Development Department (EDD) is launching the Emergency Recovery Grant for Small Businesses and Nonprofits to provide financial assistance to nearly 100 small businesses and nonprofit organizations affected by last week's storm. The grant application link will open on Monday, February 12th, and close on Tuesday, February 27th.
