We hope you are having a restful summer! Thank you for participating in the July 25, 2024, CIE partner gathering. During the meeting, we honored San Diego Pride and learned about the impactful figures and important moments in time, leading us here! Your time and attention is greatly appreciated.

We welcomed Bonita Resource Center as one of our newest CIE Partners!

Their mission is to focus on helping underserved families and youth to reach their maximum potential geared toward a healthier lifestyle with access to healthcare, health education, information, and available resources.  

We highlighted the newest direct referral opportunities which include Mama's Kitchen's Medically Tailored Meals, San Ysidro Health's Behavioral Health services, Senior Nutrition Programs, and Vista Communtiy Clinic's dental and health services.

The amazing Angie Esparza Banuelos has provided the latest updates for the CIE system You-tilization, which will be implemented in August.

The updates include:

1. Dashboard Bulk Updates: This feature offers a guided flow to improve the management of referrals in CIE.
2. Referral Search Update: This includes refined filters, sorting tools, and categories to enhance the search and retrieval of referrals in CIE.

Partners can look forward to receiving release notes, tips, and training materials soon.

Joanna Oboza provided a demo on the CalAIM Screener which includes access to a questionnaire to help you determine eligibility for the CalAim program and services across our county. Learn more here.

Lastly, Shelly Parks provided an update on the CIE Summit 2024 which was attended by more than 300 registrants across the United States and Canada. See the Summit wrap-up here.
