Thank you for attending the May CIE Partner Gathering, where we hosted 51 attendees from various organizations within our community.

During the meeting, we celebrated Juneteenth and LGBTQ+ Pride Month. We shared Fannie Lou Hamer's powerful statement: "Nobody's free until everybody's free," which encapsulates the core principle of collective liberation and the interconnectedness of social justice struggles.

We also provided information about the Pride Parade and Festival taking place on July 19 and 20. For more details, please visit: https://sdpride.org/pride/.

We welcomed Bridge Prenatal as a new CIE partner and learned about Helping Hands Senior Foundation's direct referral opportunity, which provides support and referrals to assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, in-home care, and other benefits to seniors and disabled individuals.

Naomi Note-Carroll, the WIC Associate Director of Communications at the American Red Cross, joined us to present a new referral pathway for finding local WIC locations throughout San Diego County. By submitting a form, clients can have their request sent to their chosen provider, who will follow up directly.

The CIE Partner Experience team guided us through a review of the authorization methods, which include verbal attestation, telephonic recording, digital signatures, and paper signatures.

Lastly, Rox Suarez provided an update on Data Integration Interoperability regarding upcoming changes to alerts for justice-involved clients planned for later this summer.
