CU Boulder’s Information Security Awareness Course
All CIRES researchers, faculty, and staff are required to complete the CU Boulder Information Security Awareness Course. You have been or will be contacted by email from the Office of Information Technology (OIT) if you are required to complete the course, which is mandatory for all active CU employees, including those embedded at NOAA, every two years. Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct training
The Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct training is required every three years for CIRES staff located on the CU campus, and every year for NOAA-embedded employees. You have been or will be contacted by CIRES HR if you are overdue, and you can check your status by logging into the CU Boulder portal and checking the “SkillSoft” tile for the last completion date on your “Learning Transcript.” Questions: [email protected]

CIRES photo contest deadline: December 31
All CIRES researchers, faculty, staff, visiting fellows, and graduate students are welcome to submit to our 2023 photo contest! Winning photographers receive a large, professionally printed reproduction of their work. We especially want to see images of field research and lab work. The contest closes at midnight, December 31.
