2. Uniform Distribution
For anyone who did NOT receive their uniform package this past Saturday, please let me know by FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 by 1pm so I know to bring a jersey and socks for the player. Beginning this week, we will NOT keep uniforms onsite for distribution.
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the player’s scheduled first session to ensure he/she will be able to receive his/her uniform package AND participate in the full amount of allotted time of his/her first practice.
Each player registered receives a uniform package which will include a CISC jersey and socks. (U4 Lil' Strikers will receive only a jersey)
Players will be responsible for providing their own:
- Shinguards (mandatory)
- Soccer or running shoes
- Water or another kind of sports drink
- Appropriate athletic apparel e.g. shorts, sweatpants, etc.
Though players are encouraged to bring their age-appropriate ball (Size 3 - U4-U8, Size 4 - U10-U12 & Size 5 - U13 and older), it is by all means not mandatory as CISC will provide all necessary equipment to include balls, disc markers, goals, etc.
3. Food & Beverages on The Dome's turf
As a reminder, food is strictly PROHIBITED from being on the turf at The Dome as are beverages without a screwable top/lid. Please ensure any postgame snacks distributed are opened and consumed once on the concourse area. The same is applicable for beverages like coffee cups from a Starbucks, Kaladi Bros., etc. Please consume those beverages off the turf.
Thank you for your help in ensuring The Dome's turf remains as quality as possible.
4. Entering/Exiting The Dome's turf
The Dome's staff have asked us to kindly remind players and families to use the stairs and concourse area - UP & OVER - when entering/exiting The Dome's turf (instead of the Emergency Exits).
PLEASE NOTE: Emergency Exits should be used only in emergency situations or as access points for people who cannot use the stairs to enter/exit The Dome's turf.
For them, it's primarily a SAFETY ISSUE as there are many users NOT affiliated with the CISC Winter 2024 Indoor Rec Soccer Season using the track. Accidents want to be avoided as much as possible and we are asking you do your part to avoid collisions.
A Dome and/or Cook Inlet SC staff member will be monitoring the Emergency Exit by the stairs to guide people UP & OVER (with certain exceptions for people who cannot use the stairs to enter/exit The Dome's turf).
