We are looking for volunteers who can help us get all the kids to Mini Camp, May 29-31. If you are willing to drive your child to Mini Camp, and may have extra room in your car, please contact Laura, walking2011@live.ca


JB Activities - Reminder

The next JB Activity is this coming Sunday, April 19, 1pm - 3pm at Grace Presbyterian Church ( Google map ).

Mark you calendars also for May 3rd - CISV Calgary will participate in the City of Calgary's Annual River Cleanup. More details to follow.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
New Opportunities


We are collecting expressions of interest for new International Program opportunities:

Interchange, age 12/13, with CISV Indonesia. 

Hosting phase will potentially be in Calgary over Christmas 2015/16; travel phase in Indonesia over Summer 2016. Final dates TBD.

 

CISV Toronto is extending an invitation to blend their Step Up delegations. 

14 year old male opportunity (Trento, Italy, July 17 - August 8, 2015); 

15 year old male opportunity (Alsace, France, July 9-31, 2015).

CISV Toronto's open spots are offered on a "first come, first serve" basis to all Canadian CISV chapters.

DID YOU KNOW?

CISV Canada has a special fund to support Junior Branch members (up to and including age 25) who require funding support to attend training or an educational workshop, CISV or other(!).

 

The MEMORIAL FUND has been established in memory of CISV members in Canada who have given significantly of their time and effort to further the goals of CISV.

 

If you are interested, read the APPLICATION FORM (the criteria is detailed on the second page), and if you qualify - apply!
