THE CITY OF GULFPORT TO OPEN RESIDENT COOLING CENTER

AT GULFPORT SENIOR CENTER

In response to the impacts of Hurricane Helene and ongoing power outages, the City of Gulfport will open a Resident Cooling Center at the Gulfport Senior Center on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This center will provide a cool, safe space with air conditioning for residents needing relief from the heat. Additionally, the facility will have power available, allowing residents to charge their devices.

The Gulfport Senior Center, located at 5501 27th Ave S, Gulfport, FL 33707, will be open to help residents stay cool and connected. All residents are encouraged to take advantage of this service.
