Residents advised to review preparedness plans
The City of Gulfport is monitoring the track of Potential Tropical Cyclone #9. The National Hurricane Center has placed the City of Gulfport in the five-day cone of uncertainty for the approach of Potential Tropical Cyclone #9. Regardless of the storm’s eventual track, high winds, rain, and flooding or storm surge may affect the City as early as this weekend. Please continue to monitor local weather sources for information on potential for and timing of any local impacts.

The City of Gulfport will provide additional information and evaluate further actions as the storm’s track becomes more definitive. Continue to monitor local weather reports and emergency information resources.
