We have just added over 300 new items to our website.  In addition to the highlights listed below, we've included a number of coins from the South Petherton Hoard.  This hoard was found on November 13, 2013 in Somerset, England and contained over 7500 coins.  A nice selection is available, including "Zoo" types of Gallienus, a pair of scarce Valerian types, and coins of Quintillus, Aurelian and Claudius II.

A number of English hammered coins were added to the Medieval category, including a pair of scarcer Southwark mint issues of Edward VI and several pennies of Edward I and Plantagenet kings.

World coin listings are quite varied, including nearly 100 new Budget Category coins. Also watch for a high grade Windward Islands 1731 12 Sols with choice colorful toning, a scarce coin of the Mexican Revolution in UNC, and several crown sized coins from Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

In an attempt to get more orders to increase our donation to MSIR (see below) we have reduced prices on over 2800 items.  Additionally, save some more money by using the coupon codes below:

In honor of our resident Shiba Numismatists we will be donating 5% of our gross sales from civitasgalleries.com to the Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue.  Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue (MSIR) was founded in 2002 and is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and licensed rescue. They help to save and place Shiba Inus throughout the Midwest, including Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana.  Through March 31st, your purchases will help a worthy cause.  If you can't find anything to add to your collection but are feeling charitable, MSIR would be happy to have your direct donation as well.  We thank you for your patronage and for your support of this organization!

      Thank you for looking!
