2024 Hall of Fame
Congratulations to all of our distinguished inductees in this year's Christ the King Hall of Fame!
The accomplishments and lives of these exceptional people are an immeasurable source of pride to all of us who are part of the Christ the King family. By honoring them this past month, we shared with them, their families, and friends, a feeling of achievement. Through this example, we are reminded of the spirit of what Christ the King represents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us on this occasion, contributing to the creation of a memorable night. Our sincere appreciation also goes to Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan for guiding us in prayer.

On the left hand side is a copy of the Program from CK's first musical production of "The Sound of Music" in May of 1965 including a picture from the final bow of Maria and the Captain, and a picture of Melina and I in the summer of 2023 following our lunch.
Melina was Maria and I was Capt. Von Trapp.
After graduation we went our separate ways to go to College, get married and raise families. Melina stayed in NY, earning a degree in Education. And I ended up in Pittsburgh, PA with a degree in music. We both have had teaching careers in our respective fields.
But I have often wondered what happened to Melina. I had no luck on line or any of the modern places that you look to search for someone until 2020 when I finally reconnected with her. After that we kept in touch by phone and texting.
This past summer, I made a trip to New York to see my family and we met for the first time since we graduated from CK in 1967. We had a delightful lunch out on Long Island (which lasted almost till dinner time). It was just wonderful to reconnect and talk about our time at CK and what has happened since then.
