ROYAL
ACHIEVEMENT
Senior Meghan Bernardy ('22) has been awarded The Gold Award, the highest level of achievement in Girl Scouting. She has also been selected as a 2021-2022 Future Women of Distinction finalist. Meghan has completed over 170 hours of volunteer work with GallopNYC, an organization that offers therapeutic horseback riding programs to riders with disabilities, veterans, seniors, and at-risk youth. Congratulations Meghan on this outstanding achievement!
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Christ the King has always believed that part of its mission is to provide its students with the ability to grow spiritually and empower them to become the moral leaders of tomorrow. One such way is through Christian Services, Christ the King's volunteer program, where students have the opportunity to become active members of their community and leave a lasting, positive impact on society at large.

This year the CK Campus held a turkey drive and exceeded their goal. Over 200 turkeys were collected. Students volunteered to pack meal boxes and distribute them to local food pantries.

We are proud of the contribution our students have made to our surrounding communities. A huge thank you to the Christ the King community who donated to make this service project a success!

PAINT & SIP
The beautiful CK library was the perfect setting for the Parents' Guild Paint & Sip this past week. It was wonderful to see our faculty and parents come together for our relaxing social event.

Thank you Ms. Munoz for organizing the activity. Please look out for more information on future Parents' Guild events.

ROYALS ON THE COURT
A proud week at Christ the King High School! Saniyah Glenn ('22) signed her letter of intent to Harvard University and Julianna Laguna ('22) signed her commitment letter to the United States Military Academy West Point.

Congratulations to both of our Royal student athletes on their outstanding achievements!

Music has always been an important focus of our curriculum here at Christ the King Daycare/Preschool. Children have always enjoyed activities in our music specialty room as well as daily activities in their class. In addition, we are proud to offer our students a formal music program by Edu Music, which is a model based on a developmental approach to music education, rather than a performance-oriented approach. Music is a highly effective means of communicating information and is a useful tool in teaching basic concepts such as counting, colors, social skills and more.
CK Kids programs has ongoing registration! Join our classes anytime!

CK Kids offers a variety of programs for all interests for boys and girls ages 2 & up. Classes such as dance, acrobatics, karate, art, cooking and more are offered six days a week.

One advantage of the CK Campus is that many of our classes are conveniently scheduled after the school day for our 3-K and Pre-K students to attend. Having both school and activities in one location saves our parents time.

Save the Date!
