CKS Serves

CKS Serves thanks you for helping to raise over $2,000 for Rise Against Hunger with the Chick-fil-A lunch fundraiser on 9/6. We saw many happy faces enjoying their sandwiches!

The Rise Against Hunger event will be held at CKS on April 29. It's a feel good family day of service, please save the date.

The goal of CKS Serves is to provide CKS students and their families with service opportunities so our children can help those in need and learn the value of service to others. CKS Serves celebrates the Legacy of the Grey Nuns whose mission was “to be signs of God’s unconditional love as we collaborate to create a more just and compassionate world”.

As you plan out your family's service projects, visit the CKS Serves webpage to learn about the Grey Nun Service Certificate and connect with organizations that your family can support.

Create Monsignor's Thanksgiving Card

All CKS students are invited to design Monsignor Frank's personal Thanksgiving card, which he will use to send to his friends and family near and far! The winning design will be professionally reproduced into a 5x7 inch greeting card.

Entries may be submitted on the attached form or on paper, whichever the artist prefers. Students are asked to limit their choice of medium to paint or markers so that the colors are vibrant. Please do not use colored pencil or crayon.

The winner will receive an Amazon gift card. All entries must be submitted by Friday, October 14, to homeroom teachers or to the school office.

Middle School Snack Shack

As a special privilege exclusively for our middle school students, the Snack Shack is open for business during lunch on most Wednesdays throughout the school year! A variety of frozen treats are available for $1. If your 6th, 7th, or 8th grader would like to buy a snack, please remind them to bring their dollar. Money earned from Snack Shack goes towards MS socials, field trips, speakers, and other enhancements to the MS experience.

Birthday treats will include (25) certificates for Snack Shack for $50. The certificates will go directly to homeroom teachers and be distributed to the homeroom class only.
