Classmates Steven Honsinger, Robert Stroebel, and Anthony Policari, members of the Hawk Alumni Class of 1969 Reunion Committee, are seen here delivering a major portion of the Class of 1969 Legacy Fund in support of the school's Student Emergency Fund.
The check for $31,905, from the Class of 1969, was presented to Richard Garibell, Hudson Catholic President, with Alumni Association President Bill McGrath, ’79 and the school's new Chief Advancement Officer Gary Ferrari, ’73, looking on.
In thinking of the various ways this gift could be put to the best use at Hudson Catholic, the ’69 Reunion Committee decided that the unprecedented circumstances presented by the COVID 19 pandemic made for an obvious choice to buttress the Student Emergency Fund. This will help multiple families return their children, our young Hawks, to Hudson Catholic for the new school year.
The Class of 1969 Alumni believe that today’s kids deserve the same opportunity afforded them for a Lasallian education in the safe and caring environment of Hudson Catholic. This is the first major gift to the Student Emergency Fund.
