"Paddle for Promise" June 6th

This summer, UrbanPromise Wilmington will employ 37 teens in summer camps, leading neighborhood youth in games, songs, skits, and other fun activities. For some, it's their first job. For others, it's a continuation of an after-school job they've had all year. Most importantly, it is a safe place to grow, learn, and experience Christ-centered community, while serving as role models for youth.  The Paddle for Promise brings our community together to raise over $120,000 so Wilmington teens can learn under Christian leaders, hear the gospel, and take hold of a vision of servant leadership in their life. Your "yes" gives teens an eight-week leadership opportunity in which they receive job and leadership training and five-day-per-week employment. 

Please consider joining, encouraging, or donating to Mike Woodin and Alexis Brooks (representing team CLC) as they paddle 8 miles down the Christiana River to raise awareness and funds for the UrbanPromise StreetLeader program!

Christian Life Center is excited for Kingdom Quest Vacation Bible School, July 20–23, 2026! We’re looking for volunteers, Small Group Leaders, Assistants, Station Helpers, Student Helpers, Nursery & Preschool childcare, Registration, and more.

Join us in guiding kids (K–6th grade) on a fun, faith-filled adventure. Every role helps create a meaningful and engaging experience. If you love working with children and want to serve, we’d love to have you on the team!

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Registration for VBS 2026: Kingdom Quest is officially open, and we can’t wait for your kids to join us.

This summer, kids will embark on an exciting journey to discover what it means to be part of God’s Kingdom. Through engaging Bible stories, high-energy games, creative activities, and meaningful worship, children will learn how to follow Jesus and live out their faith in everyday life.

Dates: July 20th – 23rd

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Who: Kids entering K–6th grade for the 2026/2027 school year

Whether it’s their first time or their favorite week of the year, VBS is a place where kids grow in faith, build friendships, and have a whole lot of fun along the way! Follow the link the register!
