PROGRESSIVE DINNER HOSTS NEEDED

Mark your calendars for a fun and meaningful evening—our Progressive Dinner is happening Thursday, August 8th! We’ll gather in CLC Host Homes for dinner in small groups, then come back together at CLC to enjoy dessert and community. We’re currently looking for warm, welcoming homes to host dinner for 6–10 guests. If you love hospitality and good conversation, this is a great opportunity to connect with others and be a blessing.

STUDENT MINISTRY

This summer, in partnership with Good Neighbors Home Repair, the Student Ministry will be participating in local missions right here in Chester County as we seek to "love thy neighbor" as Jesus calls us to in Matthew 22.

This will be a three-night/four-day opportunity for students (6th to 12th grade) to apply their faith in tangible ways as we seek to serve our neighbors in the Chester County area through home repair, compassion, and the love of Jesus.

MISSION MINUTE: CAMBODIA IMPACT

When travelling in Cambodia last fall, I was blessed to witness and even participate in this wonderful educational program provided by Faith Family Christian Church (FFCC). Cambodia Impact is focused on empowering the next generation of Cambodians through education.

Would you be interested in joining us in our mission to provide English language and general education services to children and youth, equipping them to become the leaders of tomorrow? With the love of Jesus guiding us, we believe that every child deserves the right to knowledge, regardless of their circumstances. Today we have a total of 250 students attending our tuition classes every evening. We have a team of 23 volunteers (teachers, assistant teachers, admin, and security) serving in 14 classes. Together, let’s transform families, communities, and the nation of Cambodia through faith and education! The video below will give you an idea of the program I witnessed first-hand in November. Click here for the video. If you would like to know more about the program, please contact Laurie or Duffy Sample. If you would like to donate, send a check to: Cambodia Impact 4300 North Avenue Modesto, CA 95358. And don’t forget to earmark the check for FFCC educational program….thanks so much for your support.
