You are invited to a fun day at the Oakland Zoo!
Please join us as we assist the Oakland Zoo in the renovation of their entrance sign. The zoo is working to beautify their entrance by incorporating native and drought tolerant plants. The project will include running new irrigation as well as planting. All skill levels and families are welcome to join us on Saturday, May 20th from 8:30 am to 1 pm. Bring your families and crews and join us for a morning of community service and enjoy the afternoon at the Oakland Zoo. Additional volunteer opportunities that day may include mulching or landscaping projects around the Oakland Zoo.
Where: Oakland Zoo, lower lot
What to bring: Safety vest, sturdy closed toe shoes or boots, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water bottle and clothes you can get dirty in!
Lunch will be provided. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
