Join us for the virtual Accelerating Climate Capacity, Engagement, and Leadership Summit (ACCELS), convened by the CLEAN Network! For the first time, climate and energy literacy leaders will come together to share and learn, and to explore collaborations for the next year.

Summer Institute for Climate Change Education


Climate Generation is working with NOAA’s Climate Office and 12 regional cohort leaders across North America and the Pacific Islands to create an innovative, collaborative, and solutions-focused virtual Institute. We are excited to announce that CLEAN’s Katie Boyd will be leading the North American Cohort on July 20th!

Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Convening 


This 1-day convening will bring together educators from across the Mid-Atlantic to discuss climate change education. Education and outreach happening throughout the region will be highlighted, hoping to inspire a community of educators. 


This event is virtual and completely free! It will take place on Tuesday July 26, 2022, from 10am to 3:30pm EST. Space is limited, sign up now!

Bay Area Climate Institute


This free, 2-day Climate Institute for teachers will take place on the UC Berkeley Campus. It is running from August 1-2, 2022, 9am - 3pm PT. It is open to all educators working with public school students of all grade levels/subjects.


Please Note: There is currently a waitlist.

Earth Science Data Use & Understanding in Grades 7-14: ESIP Teacher Summer Workshop 


Earth Science Information Partners is putting on this in-person workshop, in the Pittsburgh area, where teachers will be led through activities using Earth science data to explore phenomena.


This event will take place from July 20-21, 2022, 1:30-5:30pm EST, with a Zoom option available. Registration is free, but there are limited spots available so sign up quickly!

National Climate Educators Retreat


Located on The Ecology School’s sustainable River Bend Farm campus on the Saco River in Saco, Maine, the National Climate Educators Retreat is a professional development opportunity. It is designed to support high school classroom teachers in incorporating climate education in their curriculum.


The second annual retreat will take place August 2-5, 2022. There is a $75 fee. Register now to secure your spot!
