In case you're wondering what day it is--
according to nationaldaycalendar.com it might be:
John's usual--

We've had a real spike in Covid cases locally over the past week. It feels like more cases of people that we know last week than all of last year. This is troubling for 2 big reasons. The first is that we don't want anyone we know to get sick. The second is that all of the quarantine rules are still in effect. If we can't stay on top of local cases, it is possible that CLI might have to close down an extra week (a week early) for the holidays. Please help us make sure that doesn't happen by keeping yourself and others safe. We all know what to do from last year-- we've just gotten a little too comfortable.

We're working on some special newsletters over the holiday break. While CLI's regular day programs are closed, we've still got lots of other activities going on. Also-- CLI has been fortunate to have benefited from the generosity of a others this fall, so one of our newsletters will spotlight those people & foundations who have donated to either the Kenilee Lanes Wheelchair Accessibility Project -- or to expand CLI's Therapeutic Day Programs.

So-- stay tuned-- but in the meantime, keep those masks up and those hands clean! We can't afford another shutdown.

John

We are another week closer to the end of the year.

It has been extremely busy for us with shredding. We have collected over 40,000 pounds of paper already this month. We have another 20,000 + pounds to collect and January is already filling up for large pick ups. This is the time of year when companies have the opportunity to get rid of old files that they no longer keep.

We just had our monthly drop off and gathered 1,300+ pounds from 36 customers.

Production has been very high as we were able to complete 24,000 units.

We baled 2,000 pounds of cardboard and have shredded 18,000 pounds of paper. We are shipping out our second truckload of recycled material already for the month. We set a goal to finish the year out with three loads.

Have a great week.

Did you know that CLI contracts with other companies and agencies for professional Occupational Therapy services and more?

We're always looking for ways to collaborate with others!
