John's usual--

We wish Rhonda White well as she sails off into retirement. While I'm sure that we'll still see her around the community, and we know where she lives, it certainly will be strange without her. Rhonda and I have worked together for almost 25 years! The only staff with more tenure is Ms. Scheid. I believe Donna started for the OG "christie lane" in 1995. Thanks to everyone that came out to send Rhonda off!

Rhonda and her husband, Ray, aren't ones to sit around in matching recliners, so I'm sure that this next White family chapter will be worth following.

Just a reminder that CLI's 2023 3-tournament series kicks off on Friday, July 21st. It's a good time-- even if you aren't all that great you should still come out as there will be opportunities to win cash prizes no matter what your skill level!

CLI is looking to fill 2 full-time positions with benefits. If you know someone who you think would be a great fit, please tell them to email me and I'll schedule an interview within a week.

That's all I have for now. Thanks & have a great, safe holiday. I know that I'm really looking forward to spending the long weekend with my family & (non-work) friends! Of course, I'll also look forward to seeing all of my work friends again Wednesday, July 5th.

John

Bon Voyage Rhonda!

The air quality kept us inside a bit more than usual, but we used the time to work on our bowling & cornhole skills (left). Bowling leagues start in September & CLI's first Cornhole Tournament is Friday, July 21st!

OHgo volunteers (right) reported for duty as usual. They're an intrepid crew!

Announcing CLI's newest service exclusively offered to people who are community employed--

because there's more to life than the daily grind!

We believe that lifetime learning and playing shouldn't stop after high school or after you get your

first "real" job! CLI wants to help you continue to grow and/or to enjoy the fruits of your labor!

CLI's Good Works Cafe offers a free community lunch every Friday afternoon at the Norwalk Reservoir Clubhouse.

Thanks to the generous donations (money & food), CLI is able to take care of our neighbors and also get some real life restaurant and customer service job training.

If you'd like to learn more or would like to donate to this cause--

please contact Rhonda White by phone at 419-706-5136 or by email at Rhonda@CLIsupports.com

Question of the week

Q: I use a wheelchair and I want to go out on a boat. I heard that Sandusky's Adaptive Sailing program doesn't accommodate wheelchairs right now. Can CLI help me get out on a boat?

A: Absolutely. The two easiest options are taking a ferry to one of the islands and then sightseeing there before the return trip home OR going out on a charter fishing boat if that's your thing. Just let us know if you want to do either of those and we'll see if we can pull it together!
