COVID is back in our local area again!

There have been quite a few cases among CLI staff & clients this fall. CLI follows all CDC recommendations regarding this and other pathogens.

Masks are still optional & CLI has them to share if anyone wants to mask up all the time or just during certain activities. Otherwise, let's all keep our hands clean!

The Usual--

It was good to be back last week, although I did get COVID right at the end of my vacation. I didn't have a fever after Saturday night, so I was able to return to work on Monday, but had to wear a mask for the rest of the week. I don't think any of us like masks. It's hard to remember that we spent almost 2 years wearing them!

COVID is going around. If any staff or clients get sick, we want them to stay home until they no longer have a fever, then they can return (24 hours after the last fever), but they have to wear a mask for the next 5 days. It's going to be a long winter if we're already struggling to stay well in late August/early September!

Everyone had lots of fun with "Flat Holly" this week. It might just be a new staff vacation tradition/penalty . . .

Fall is officially here. I think it'll be a pretty one this year. Have a good week!

CLI's Good Works Cafe offers a free community lunch every Friday afternoon at the Norwalk Reservoir,

staffed entirely by volunteers with DD

with food donated by OHgo and other community partners!

Q: There is a lot of COVID going around right now. What is CLI doing about COVID?

A: There is a lot of COVID and other illnesses spreading locally. CLI is working hard to limit any spread within our programs by isolating clients and staff who are sick. The CDC recommendations are that people stay home until they no longer have a fever, then they can return and wear a mask for the next 5 days.

CLI clients & staff who are not sick do not HAVE to wear a mask. However, we do have masks available if anyone would like one for all or part of your day. Just let us know.
