Just a reminder that Kenilee is open this Saturday after Thanksgiving and running some Light Up Norwalk specials. CLI & Firelands Local LLC employees get an extra discount, so don't forget to make sure that Don remembers when you stop in this Saturday. The OSU-UM Game will be on the big screen.

Finally-- CLI staff wants to send out a big THANK YOU to the Huron County Board of DD for awarding CLI the grant money to support community admission fee costs for individuals with DD. It's been super fun planning all the fun stuff- and we're really excited about everything we've got planned for the next three weeks leading up up Christmas!

It's obviously a super short week, but enjoy your time with family & friends. Thanksgiving is a fun time-- make the most of it. I (and all of us here with CLI) are grateful for both the clients that continue to choose us-- and the awesome community that does so much to support us! Have a great holiday!

Last week we celebrated some special people at CLI. Lakayla Asher is our employee of the month for October. Lakayla works nonstop when cleaning the workshop. She always works with a smile! Thank you Lakayla for being such a great employee! Tracey Lynch is our CLI Star of the Month for October. Tracey has taken some great strides and is trying new things. She has recently joined our THRIVE classes and is doing great. Thank you Tracey for being such a great member of the CLI family! Congratulations to both of these stellar role models!

Thanks to the DODD ADS Quality Pilot Grant, CLI has a whole fresh new curriculum around technology and social media training-- including a lending library of 5G iPads that people can sign out and take home!

CLI's Good Works Cafe offers a free community lunch every Friday afternoon at the Norwalk Reservoir,

staffed entirely by volunteers with DD made from food donated by OHgo and other

community partners!
