“The most difficult thing is the decision to act. The rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life and the procedure. The process is its own reward.”

What can CLI help you do?
Judy & Deanna finished their pillow sewing projects in the Living Out Loud class (left). Jill posed for pictures with her horse (right).
Another Living Out Loud class spent some time working with the
Norwalk Master Gardeners in their "Teaching Garden" (above & left).
John's usual excuses & apologies--

Not too much to report this week other than our first of 3 cornhole tournaments this coming Friday. All proceeds will go toward the Kenilee Lanes wheelchair accessibility project. I hope to have formal drawings to share later this summer - early fall. It's a good time & we'd love to see people there!

The Schwartz family summer is in full swing. This next school year will be my first year with both kids away in college, but both have been home for the summer-- probably the last time that will be true. I'm trying to focus on the positives and not on the reality of having more drivers than cars and/or bathrooms. We're getting lots of "empty nester" comments these days. It will definitely be strange not to have my schedule so dictated by school & sports obligations. Life transitions are funny things for all of us for sure-- and often so invisible from the outside.

That's all I have. Stay safe, have a good week & keep those hands clean!
Would you like to join CLI for some fun virtual activities?
It's a bunch of loud fun!
Firelands Local LLC Update:
I heard a rumor the other day.....someone told me it was summertime.
With all the rain we have been getting, it feels like May showers or just a lot of rain.

Last week we were able to ship out a load of 12,000 lbs. of plastic wrap.
We also shredded 9000 lbs. of paper, recycled 2200 lbs. of cardboard and finished @16,000 units.

By far the most exciting thing happening this week is the new Firelands Local website. It will be going live any day now. I would love for you to check it out and give me some feedback.

We confirmed 3 upcoming shred purges and are in the process of bidding on a new labor job.

Have a wonderful week and make sure you check out our freshly updated website:
