Waterflex Aerobics Classes at the Ernshausen Aquatic Center are popular!
Our Social Seniors have been having lots of fun each Thursday at the Norwalk Enrichment Center. They have come up with some fun and adaptive ways to play bingo by using decks of cards in place of the traditional cards. They are much easier to work with and the font is bigger; another added bonus!
Nothing says it’s summer quite like that first trip to Vargo’s!
John's usual--

I can't believe it's already June. 2022 is flying by. I know that summer hasn't even officially started yet-- but it too will go by quickly. CLI has lots of summer activities scheduled, but we do special requests too. So, if there is an activity or a trip that you'd like to participate in-- let us know!

We’re still taking names for people interested in a boat ride with All Ports Yacht Club at Venetian Marina on Friday, June 17th. This is always a fun day that starts with a powerboat cruise around Sandusky Bay, then an awesome lunch before they send us on our way with lots of swag. We'll be sending more information home with people a week or so ahead of time. For those of you who normally don't spend your day with CLI because you have a job in the community-- if you want to go with us on the 17th-- we'll probably have some extra spots. Let us know.

Another reminder that June 24th will be our 1st of 4 cornhole tournaments with prizes going to each individual winning team and for the series. The final Saturday event on September 24th will include a chili cook-off & reverse raffle tickets. We'll be selling those raffle tickets all summer for $25 each. We'd love to have your family & friends join us for these, but if you want to participate and need CLI supports to make that happen-- let us know.

Have a great week!
John
We're touching up our cornhole boards for another season!
In case you're wondering what day it is-- according to nationaldaycalendar.com it might be:
FAQ of the week:

Q: Cornhole teams have 2 players, but I don't have a partner. Can I still play?

A: Absolutely! CLI will help you find a partner. Just let us know that you want to sign up & we'll help you work out the details-- like finding a partner & a ride.
CLI & Firelands Local have new opportunities for paid vocational training. So, for those of you who have been asking when the workshop will be open-- this is it.

Full-disclosure, it's going to be a mix of paid work at the workshop, or perhaps another community work place AND classes or activites related to long-term goals of community employment.

Interested? Space is limited, so talk to your SSA today.
