John's Usual Excuses & Apologies-- Just a quick note this week. I hope that everyone had a good & safe holiday weekend. For those of you who tuned into the weekly zoom update last week, it is archived on CLIsupports Youtube channel. Sorry if you tried to log on and weren't able to. Fair warning-- these are not titillating flicks. No chance of these bad boys going viral! DODD has given CLI permission to add a few more slots in the workshop building. We're kicking out Tabitha & Haven to make 2 more spots. Fair warning-- in order to get one of these new workshop spots, you will have to show us that you aren't doing anything risky on your off hours. If anyone in one of our spaces gets sick, the whole group-- staff & clients have to self-quarantine. We MUST balance safety with personal choice. I'm sure that everyone is as worried as we are about the recent spikes in COVID-19 infection rates. CLI has implemented lots of new safeguards and isolation techniques. We will be sticklers on the rules. Please be patient as we work through exactly how that impacts what people want to do. Visitors will NOT be permitted in any CLI buildings and/or vehicles. These restrictions apply to CLI staff too. I'm not allowed in any of these spaces either. We're sanitizing and hand-washing every hour. Everyone is wearing masks and we are reminding each other constantly to follow best practices. We will accommodate visits as we are able outdoors if appropriate. We will absolutely help anyone virtually connect with anyone else. We have lots of tools and are happy to share them. I haven't been getting many pictures. Send them in and we'll put it in the next newsletter. That's all I have. Stay safe & wash your hands! John

From James Johnson, GM-- On Wed 7/1 wed had our monthly drop off day.  We had 39 customers drop off 3008 lbs. We helped save: 25.6 trees, 4.96 cubic yards of landfill space, and 541.44 gallons of water. We are already looking forward to our next drop off day on 8/5.   I would also like to take a moment and remind everyone that health and safety still need to be a priority. I, like most people, am getting tired of all the protocols that have been put in place during the pandemic. This is when none of us can afford to let our guard down. The virus is still around and looks like it will be for a while. We ALL need to take the appropriate precautions to keep each other safe. I am proud of all the efforts that have been made to keep each other safe.   We still have more bins for sale. They are each only $20. This container sells for $100 at a leading retail store.
