CLICK GIFT CARDS
Crazy to think about, I know, but the Christmas season is coming up and Click is prepared. We offer gift certificates in any denomination.
Our gift certificates are good to put towards sessions or products.
Struggling with what to wear for your upcoming photo shoot? Be sure to check out my 'what to wear' inspiration board on Pinterest.
Think 'three colours', just like when decorating a room - a base colour, an accent colour and your details to bring it all together. I love colour - don't be afraid to wear it. The only thing I recommend not wearing... shirts with huge logos on them to distract the eye. And gone are the days of matching white tops and blue jeans. :)
MOMZ IN BIZ
A few months ago I blogged about being a part of an dynamic networking group called Momz in Biz. Over the past year I have come to know and trust these fellow women entrepreneurs. As such, I will be profiling one of these outstanding women and their businesses each month going forward.
This month, I am excited to share with you...
Located in the Belmont Village at 718 Belmont Ave, they offer 'Luxurious lingerie for the contemporary woman. It's what you don't see that counts." I'm so excited because they now carry the new line from Vancouver called Naked (as seen on The Dragon's Den)! And with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, La Femme Privee will be donating $5 from every regular priced bra purchased in the month of October to the Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre. La Femme Privee also offers bra fittings!
SMILING EYES For those of you that are not aware of The Smiling Eyes Project, it is a project I started in 2006 when a neighbour of mine was about to begin chemo treatments for breast cancer. I offered her a photo shoot before she was to begin her chemo treatments. I was so touched with how grateful she was and so moved by the love I saw during the shoot that I decided it was something I needed to do more of.
I wanted to offer this to people because cancer had touched many friends and family members and this was my one way of fighting back. I've always believed that everyone is capable of volunteering their time and talents. This was going to be my way.
Six years later we now have over 30 photographers on board that stretch all over Ontario offering free photo sessions (as well as the high resolution DVD of all their images). We also have a photographer that visits the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto once a month to offer photo shoots to the families staying there.
The strength, the love and inspirational stories and people I have met over these 6 years continues to shape who I am today.
If you know of a family or friend that would like to have a photo shoot done please have them contact us at info@smilngeyes.ca.
THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING SOON!
Click also offers 5x5 Christmas cards with a photo from a recent photo shoot with Click! Orders must be in by December 1st in order to have them in in time for Christmas day.
OCTOBER LOVE
Hope the rest of October fills you with lots of apple cider (my fave), family time and fabulous photos!
