With the above in mind, Interchange Services will be provided on Friday, April 2, 2021 under Tariff Rule 34-155 for all ocean carriers calling Garden City Terminal. The GPA will offer our services at the normal straight-time rate.
The following operating conditions will apply for standard / dry containers (20’, 40’ and 45’):
All inbound and outbound gate transactions must have an associated PIN number. Services will be available at all gates (Gates 3, 4 and 8):
- Gate 4 - Hours of operation will be 0600 - 1800
- Gate 8 - Hours of operation will be 0600 - 1700
- Gate 3 - Hours of operation will be 0700 - 1700
- Cut-off for pick-up tickets will be 1630
- Cut-off for drop-off tickets will be 1700
- Inbound perimeter gates will close at 1700
Refrigerated cargo/container services (20’ and 40’) will be offered on Friday as follows:
All inbound and outbound gate transactions must have an associated PIN number.
- Refrigerated container gate will be from 0600 - 1700
- Half-staff at the Reefer Service Area (RSA) from 0600 – 0800
- Full-staff at the Reefer Service Area starting at 0800
- Flex lunch hour (half-staff from 1100 – 1200 and 1200 -1300)
- Cut off for refrigerated container pick-up tickets will be 1500
- Cut off for refrigerated container drop-off tickets will be 1530
