Staying Safe This Winter: Important Updates from the H&S

Education Committee

As winter approaches, the Joint Health and Safety Education Committee is focused on ensuring everyone's preparedness for the season's unique challenges and joys. Here are some important resources for safe navigation through the winter months, both indoors and out. For those who need to travel on winter roads, our first resource, "Winter Driving," is indispensable. It covers preparing your vehicle for winter conditions and offers crucial tips for driving on snow and ice, including what to do in a winter driving emergency. Your safety is a top priority for the Joint Health and Safety Committee, and we hope you will integrate these guidelines into your daily routine for a secure and enjoyable winter.

The "Winter Safety Indoors and Out" guide offers comprehensive tips on maintaining a safe, warm home, preparing for emergencies, and engaging in outdoor activities safely. Additionally, it provides advice on staying healthy during the colder months. We encourage you to explore this essential guide for a safer winter experience. For any questions or further suggestions on winter safety, please feel free to contact the committee. Stay warm and safe this winter season.
