Live Free Mini Legal Update Webinar

Tuesday, June 14th at 6:00 p.m.
Door Prize Will Be Awarded
That time of year is here again! Catch up on what the Florida Legislature was up to this year on Tuesday, June 14th. What passed, what didn’t. And most importantly what bills Gov. DeSantis signed, enacting into law.

Join our legal beagle, Russ Klemm, at 6:00 p.m. in our Live Mini Legal Update webinar and discover what laws (if any) were signed into law that affects community associations. Also find out what issues may come up in the next session. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and hear pre-submitted questions.

This class is being offered on a complimentary basis. However, a voluntary donation of any amount to our Annual Pet Drive to help the abandoned and abused pets of Central Florida with their veterinary bills would be much appreciated.

Those individuals who donate to the Pet Drive will have their name placed twice into a drawing for a door prize that night! For those who attend and turn in a survey after the class, they will be placed in a monthly drawing for a $25 gift card.

Pre-submit your questions about laws that passed or didn’t pass on your registration form.
2022 Board Certification Classes Available!

CM On Demand Homeowners, Condominium/Cooperative, and Mobile Home Park Board Certification Classes are now available on our website! The classes are all brand new incorporating all the changes affecting these classes which were signed into law in 2021.

Our On Demand Classes are now available for a donation to our Annual Pet Drive for non-clients and on a voluntary donation basis for our active clients. For information on this Drive, please refer to the article below.

While it not required to take the class annually, due to so many changes in the law last year that affected this class, we suggest board members who may have taken this class prior to 2022 retake the class to be briefed on the changes.

Why the Donations to the Pet Drive

As part of our Embracing Community commitment, our classes are available with a small donation fee which will be donated at the end of the year to a private 501(3) (c) non-profit pet rescue to assist with their veterinary bills. Typically, vets provide these rescues with a 10% discount off their fees and the balance of the vets’ bills are paid by the rescue.

Normally, each pet received into a rescue is provided:

·        updated vaccinations;
·        physical exam;
·        flea/tick/heartworm meds; and
·        a dental cleaning.

The rescue’s adoption fees barely cover the expenses. To top that off, many pets come in with other medical issues that dramatically increase – sometimes into the thousands of dollars – the vet’s fees. For this reason, all fees associated with our educational programs are donated to a private non-profit rescue at the end of the year.

As always, our valued active clients receive these classes on a complimentary basis as a perk for being a client. However, if our clients would like to make a voluntarily donation of any size – we will pay it forward with a special reward (see below).

Each month, we will enter the name of all the people who took one or more of our On Demand classes for a monthly drawing to win a gift card. If our clients make a voluntary donation, their names will be entered twice! The winner will be announced in the next month’s CM Update.

Here is the donation schedule for Board Certification Classes (includes Certificate):

Active Clients – free or voluntary donation of any size

 *Board Certification Form $10

*The Board Certification Form is available to our clients only and can be used in lieu of taking the class and/or used as a “temporary pass” to use until you can take the class.
