Jim McKay Maryland Million Day
The 34th edition of Jim McKay Maryland Million Day will take place on Saturday, October 19 at Laurel Park.

Over 22,000 people were in attendance to enjoy the 2018 renewal of Maryland’s Day at the Races, which featured races for eligible Maryland-sired horses. Wagering topped $6.4 million, which is the highest it has been since 2007.

“Jim McKay Maryland Million Day is a great day of racing that showcases Maryland horses,” says Cricket Goodall, executive director of Maryland Million Ltd. “It is our annual fall celebration for owners, trainers and breeders – and welcoming both dedicated and new fans to Laurel Park. It is our day to shine and we look forward to making it another great event on October 19th!”

Jim McKay Maryland Million Day features races for Maryland-sired horses with purses and awards of more than $1 million. A diverse crowd of fans, industry professionals, and elected officials flock to Laurel Park each autumn to enjoy this competitive day of racing and a variety of other on-and-off-track activities.

Held every October, National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.

NCSAM 2019 will emphasize personal accountability and stress the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity at home and in the workplace. This year’s overarching message – Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT. – will focus on key areas including citizen privacy, consumer devices, and e-commerce security.
