Live! Casino & Hotel announced that guests can now book reservations to the flagship Live! Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond Rated accommodation. This announcement is part of the property’s phased re-opening that includes a robust health and safety plan for its casino, hotel and dining operations.
“The health, safety and wellbeing of our guests remains our top priority as we prepare to welcome them back for a safe and enjoyable stay,” stated Anthony Faranca, General Manager of Live! Casino & Hotel. “With Live!’s enhanced Play It Safe Plan, it is our continued commitment that overnight guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable and luxurious escape that Live! Hotel is known for.”
The Play It Safe Plan is Live!’s enhanced health and sanitation program which allows for ample social distancing, reduced occupancies and vigorous hygiene and health measures. The plan follows guidelines from federal and state public health and elected officials, along with best practices for the gaming and hospitality industries. The full plan can be found on the Live! Casino & Hotel website at
Live! Hotel has implemented numerous measures and precautions to protect overnight guests, including, but not limited to:

2020 Torch Awards for Ethics & Spark Awards Applications Now Open
When times are tough, it’s even more important to celebrate your wins. Tell your story, honor your team, and submit your application to win an award recognizing your efforts to advance trust even in a time of unprecedented challenges.

  • Have trust and ethics grounded your response to coronavirus challenges?
  • Have you made significant sacrifices in order to keep your team employed?
  • Is your business active in the community?
  • Do you champion trust in good times and in bad?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, your business could be our next honoree. Newer businesses (those operating for 3 years or less) are encouraged to apply for a Spark Award, and those who have been in business for over 3 years are encouraged to apply for a Torch Award for Ethics.
Fake Mask Exemption Cards
Recently, "Face Mask Exemption" cards have appeared on social media, claiming the U.S. Department of Justice has cleared certain individuals from wearing protective face coverings to stem the spread of COVID-19.

The cards are produced and issued by the "Freedom to Breathe Agency (FTBA), not a governmental agency, thus not legitimate or enforceable.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all people wear protective masks in public settings and the Executive Orders of the State of Maryland require their use.
