PUMPKIN MATH + PERSONAL PUMPKIN ORDERS

We have a special fall tradition at CMCS and your support is needed. PUMPKIN MATH provides endless lesson opportunities in and out of the classroom for a whole school week and it's a super fun way for students to learn! Please purchase one pumpkin (either size) for each CMCS student in your family to be used at school, and feel free to order extras for Halloween or fall decorating around your home. If you are in a position to, please consider purchasing an extra pumpkin for teachers and for those families who may be struggling financially (purchase these under DONATED pumpkins).  

CHICKEN BOG

Let Quigley's Pint and Plate make your Saturday a little easier! While purchasing your pumpkins, be sure to purchase this delicious family-style meal that can be picked up that same day. The yummy, Feeds-4-Meal includes: Chicken Bog, Gouda Mac & Cheese and Slaw (gluten-free option available). Pick up your meals at Pumpkin Palooza on Saturday, Oct. 26th, between 12-3pm. Order as many as you like and please consider sharing the love with neighbors or CMCS teachers by ordering extra meals.

MMUN FUN FAIR - FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

CMCS Sixth graders are hosting a FUN FAIR at Pumpkin Palooza with bouncy houses and games like Crazy Relays, Balloon Bop, Karaoke, Lollipop Pull and more, with prizes! 

• First child: $15 (unlimited games)
• Additional children: $10

Money will be collected on site for the Fun Fair and will help fund students' travel expenses to attend the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) Conference in New York City this spring. The students present on the final day of the conference in the actual UN General Assembly - what an experience! CMCS is the only school in the area offering this robust and transformative program. Please take a moment to watch this video and get a feel for what an amazing program the MMUN is and how fortunate CMCS students are to have this opportunity.

If you've already signed up to volunteer for Pumpkin Palooza, you should be at this meeting. If you want to volunteer, for Pumpkin Palooza or anything else, you should be at this meeting. We still have open job slots to fill for that event and other upcoming events. If you just want to come for the heck of it, COME ON - WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YOU! It's a fun, easy way to get to know other CMCS families.

The mission of the CMCS PTO is to enhance the education of our scholars by supporting CMCS teachers, staff and families through fundraising and community building.
