Can you believe that CMEA has partnered with the Broadmoor for 80 years to provide a world-class Music Education Clinic/Conference? It’s official. CMEA has aged and like a fine wine, it has become better and stronger with each passing year. 

The 2024 Clinic/Conference will spotlight our keynote speaker, Scott Lang as he focuses on teacher recruitment, retention, and vision. Mackie Spradley, past president of NAfME will join us to address the direction of DEI and initiatives at the national level. And in 80 years, things have certainly evolved in music education. Attendees can find just about any topic that relates to the growth of our professional pedagogy… traditional performance ensembles, research, modern music/songwriting, adaptive instruction, teacher self-care/wellness, partnerships with peer music organizations, and much much more. 

What does anchor CMEA today with that of 80 years ago? We invest 110% of ourselves to influence musical expression among our students. Most importantly, we will all have the honor of hearing students perform that represent the future of music education in countless concerts. This is the same core purpose that brought attendees together during WWII. Cheers to another 80 more!

This is pivotal for maximizing professional opportunities.  CMEA cannot change or update personal information in your membership files. You must initiate this change directly with NAfME. 

You gain swift access to NAfME's wealth of resources, timely event notifications, and invaluable networking prospects by maintaining accurate information. Updated details enable seamless collaboration, fostering an exchange of best practices among peers. In an era dominated by digital connectivity, accurate contact details ensure access to NAfME's online platforms, enhancing continuous professional development. 

Any change of name (i.e.: Maiden name to married name), email, or place of employment needs to be updated so that CMEA can match your information to conference registration, All-State applications, Election Ballots, and other types of registrations.

CMEA Conference Early Registration closes soon….

Early registration is open for the annual CMEA conference but closes on December 23rd. Regular registration opens on December 24th and runs through January 13th. “On-The-Spot” registration opens online on January 14th and runs through January 28th.

Reservations for the CMEA Broadmoor Hotel Room Reservation Link Now Open

Reservations for the CMEA Room block at The Broadmoor Hotel, the official hotel of the CMEA Conference, can be made beginning on August 1, 2023 by using the link below. Reservations can also be made by calling the Hotel Reservations Center at 855-634-7711. When you call to book your reservations make sure that you tell them you are attending the CMEA Conference so you receive the CMEA hotel conference room rate.
