November 16th - General PTSA Meeting via Zoom
Our next PTSA General Meeting will be held via ZOOM at noon on Monday, November 16th. The ZOOM code will be sent out to anyone who would like to attend (respond to this email to RSVP if you'd like to receive the ZOOM link), but you must be a current member of the PTSA. See information below on how to join. If you need to check your membership status, email PTSA President, Melanie Peacock at [email protected]

Please keep in mind that because we do not currently have a fall fundraiser planned, PTSA membership sales are our primary source of income allowing us to support our faculty and students. Donations above the $10 membership are also greatly needed and appreciated and can be made at Local Level. Please plan to join us for our virtual PTSA meeting!
Reflections Contest
2020-2021 Theme: I Matter Because...
The 2020 Reflections Theme is "I Matter Because..." CMM is accepting entries in the categories of Literature, Photography and Visual Arts. We encourage all CMM students to enter this contest as many of our entries go on to win at the State and even National level. All entries are due to CMM (turn in to English teacher or in the office) by December 1st, so get those creative entries wrapped up over Thanksgiving Break!

Please consult the official rules carefully to ensure your child's entry is eligible to be judged. You may submit up to three entries (one in each category). If you have questions, please contact PTSA 1st Vice President, Kelly Byrd at [email protected]. For a full description of contest rules and requirements, please visit Caddo District PTA
Thanks & Joy
Dear CMM parents,

We are all fully aware of how different this school year looks. With that in mind, we are adapting some PTSA events to reflect the 2020 school year. Teacher Appreciation Week is normally a large scale week-long event in March. We are still hoping to be able to do something as a week-long event in the spring, however, we would like to show some appreciation to our teachers a little earlier in this school year!

Our faculty and staff at CMM have always been a step above the rest. This year, they have taken that to a whole other level with their constant adaption and strength. Through our "thanks & joy" campaign we hope to bring a little dose of teacher appreciation week to the holiday season by showering them on Fridays in November and December!

The money collected now will be used to supplement gifts and lunches for our staff & faculty every Friday over the 2nd 9 weeks. Any funds remaining will be put toward event plans in the spring. Please give as you are able!

You may give two (2) different ways.

1.     Send cash or checks made payable to CMM PTSA to the school office in an envelope labeled “THANKS & JOY”.
2.   Go to local level events through the following link. To give online click “purchase here”. https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/10214

We thank you in advance for supporting our teachers through this Thanks & Joy campaign! Please contact us if you have any questions.

Support Our School
There are lots of easy ways for you to support the CMM PTSA as you shop in town and online! Click here to see the details and links for all of these programs. Thanks for supporting our school!
CMM Directory and PTSA Volunteer Form
Please complete this form to volunteer for our PTSA committees and to opt in or out of being included in our online CMM directory. If you have already completed it, you do not need to fill it out again. If you don't remember, please complete it. The PTSA would love for every family to be a part of one committee, so see where you can plug in and sign up!
Join the PTSA!
Please join our PTSA. We encourage parents, students, teachers, grandparents to join. Memberships are $10 each. You may print out a membership form and return to school with your child with payment in an envelope marked PTSA membership or join online via Local Level. Given this year of uncertainty, what is certain is that our PTSA will continue to support our students and faculty as we have in the past and your involvement is key!
Visit Our Online Store
Our online store is up and running. Click here to purchase t-shirts, CMM face masks & gaiters, magnets, yard signs and PTSA memberships. You can also make donations to the PTSA. Because parents are not allowed on campus when students are there, we will be filling spirit wear orders once a week and sending home with hybrid students. Virtual student orders will be left in the office and you will receive an email to make arrangements to pick items up after school hours. Please be patient with orders as we get into a new routine of safely delivering them.
