Institute of Management Accountants. Joe will review the basic building blocks that all negotiators need, then explore how mastering the emotional aspects of negotiation will lead to better results. He will address why preparation is critical and how to do it effectively, how to distinguish empathy from sympathy in negotiation and how to put it to work, how to identify the forces holding you back in high-stress situations, and how to uncover more win-win possibilities.
