Greetings to you and the best of the changing seasons to all our CMMA members and friends. As always, I appreciate this opportunity to share a few CMMA updates with you.   
First off, some business… our organization continues to be financially solvent, our Community Foundation fund is solid, and we’re well positioned to continue to invest in initiatives that align with our mission. Our membership is growing, we’re a diverse group with strong representation from our manufacturing community, and those that collaborate with and support them.

Board of Director Elections
Nominations are being accepted through November 15, 2022. Please consider nominating yourself, one of your employees, or a fellow CMMA member. The ballot will be distributed in early December via email to the primary representative for each CMMA member. Please watch your inbox for the email!
CMMA October 2022 Meeting
CMMA members and guests toured Louis Industries during the October 27 meeting. Speaker Dave Brady of Turning Point consulting shared a better way to implement change and transformation.
New Association forming in the greater Fargo Moorhead area
Midwest Manufacturers Association, the home office of CMMA, is excited to announce the creation of a manufacturers and engineers association that will be based in the Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and Dilworth area. The first Red River Manufacturers & Engineers Association meeting will be held in January 2023. Welcome RRMEA!
The K12Navigator expansion launched
CMMA and Otter Tail County are pleased to announce the launch of an expanded online tool to connect schools and employers for youth workforce development. The K12 Navigator is an online directory that allows employers of all industries and sizes to engage with schools and students interested in exploring careers within career fields that they offer. Web marketing minute
Every company wants new customers. The reality is, 74% of buyers will choose the sales professional or company that adds value or insight first in the buying process, regardless of sales cycle length. Those who aren’t adding value lose out to their competitors. Cue content marketing. The idea behind content marketing is that it’s natural. It doesn’t feel like a sales pitch and the content that you create will have legitimate value to your customers. Content can come in the form of white papers, infographics, case studies, videos, blog posts, checklist, and much more.
