On June 13th 94 golfers played with purpose, enjoyed one another’s company, and had friendly competition under beautiful skies. CMMA May 2023 Meeting
On May 25, 2023 CMMA members and guests enjoyed a presentation on Incumbent Workers and Business Services by Angie Dahl and Jacob Kaduk of Career Solutions, and a presentation on Youth Program/Operation Exploration Camps by Leslie Wojtowicz, Diana Wuornos, and Tim Zipoy of Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services.

CMMA 2023 Golf Social recap
CMMA held their 11th Annual Golf Social on June 13, 2023 at the Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids. A total of 25 teams participated and raised $17,965 to benefit scholarships and youth programs. In the 11 years of this tournament a total of $126,309 has been raised to support and invest in upstream workforce development opportunities including school robotics, STEM education, and student scholarships. CMMA gives 2022 membership awards
CMMA named DCI, Inc. as the 2022 CMMA Manufacturer of the Year during the 2023 Golf Social awards ceremony. CMMA presented DCI, Inc. with this well-earned award to celebrate not only the company’s commitment to CMMA, but the betterment of manufacturing overall.
CMMA named Della Ludwig as the 2022 CMMA Collaborator of the Year. CMMA presented Ludwig with this award for her commitment to CMMA and the Central Minnesota Tour of Manufacturing effort. She is also on the CMMA Board of Directors, Program Committee, and previously on the Membership Committee. Read more.

MMA launching new magazine - membership directory to be included in the inaugural issue! Deadline August 31!
MMA’s membership directory is going to change formats in 2023! The annual printed directory will be included in the inaugural issue of a new printed magazine coming out in late October. Midwest Manufacturing Journal will be a full-color standard-size magazine, published quarterly.
The editorial focus of the magazine will be to serve manufacturers in the Midwest with articles and resources on workforce development, legislative advocacy, leadership, innovation, safety, education, networking, partnerships, and more... Read more.

You can now purchase (10) prepaid CMMA meeting "tickets" for $200 through the eCommerce store. The tickets can be used for attendance at CMMA meetings, with no expiration date. The K12Navigator update
After the expansion of the K12Navigator with collaborator Otter Tail County the number of entries has grown to 173. The K12 Navigator is an online directory that allows employers of all industries and sizes to engage with schools and students interested in exploring careers within career fields that they offer. The tool allows students to connect with employers that are willing to provide classroom speakers, company tours, job shadowing, apprenticeship programs, student mentors, and more.
