5th Annual CTE Jamboree
About 75 people attended the 5th annual CTE (Career and Technical Education) Jamboree in Sartell on November 21st. The Jamboree that focused on creating viable partnerships between education and manufacturing.
The jamboree included a tour of Sartell High School’s CTE programming which includes real-world experience with construction, metals, robotics, manufacturing and more. Classes like SabreCON Habitat for Humanity Home Build give students the chance to apply their skills, contributing to community service and gaining practical experience in the construction industry.

January meeting
We had a great CMMA meeting in Kimball on January 23rd.
King Banaian, professor from the Department of Economics at St. Cloud State University, shared the economic forecast for manufacturing.
Attendees toured the CTE program at Kimball Area Public Schools.
We finished by touring Styme Industries. Styme is a complete sheet metal job shop including design, engineering, laser cutting, shearing, forming, metal fabrication, welding and packaging.

Katie comes from working in marketing at a local manufacturing company in Princeton, MN. Through that she gained experience with digital marketing, SEO, social media, content creation, and communication. Her passion is to implement creativity and create connections to help people and businesses succeed.
Outside of work Katie has a photography business that keeps her busy over the weekends and after hours. She also enjoys spending time with her family, working out on Peloton, and reading.
