Veteran Wall of Honor

As part of our Veterans Day Celebration CMS would like to pay tribute to all men and women related to a Carroll Middle School student who are serving or have served in any of our military forces. We would like to recognize them on a “Wall of Honor.” If you have a veteran in your family you would like for us to honor, please complete the CMS Veterans Day Photo Submission to upload a photo. All submissions must be uploaded and submitted through the form by Nov. 6 in order to be included.

Lost and Found

We have an abundance of water bottles in Lost and Found as well as clothes starting to pile up. Please ask your child to check the items that are located by the stairs in the main hallway. The items will be donated winter break.

Candy

Do you have left over Halloween candy? Please consider donating it to Officer Roberson. She passes the candy out between classes randomly and uses it in classroom settings when she teaches.

Dragon Families, please read about the Wait Until 8th pledge, known in our community as Dragons Delaying Devices. This parent-led initiative encourages families to hold off on giving children smartphones until at least the end of 8th grade, helping them grow without the distractions and pressures of early smartphone use. To make the pledge active at each school, ten families per grade level are needed to join! See flyer for details.
