CMS Opens Registration for HOPE Training: August 5 

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is offering a live Hospice Outcomes and Patient Evaluation (HOPE) National Implementation Virtual Training Program on August 5, 2025, which will provide coding practice for items that are new for HOPE, as well as the existing and updated items carried over from the Hospice Item Set (HIS).

However, CMS notes that as a prerequisite to the August 5 training, interested participants are required to review the recorded HOPE didactic video training course here.
