A year ago everything changed. For teachers, for parents, for students, and for the world. We were forced to separate and to face the unknowns of quarantine, fear, bad news, good news, hope, and an endless repetition of it all. Weeks turned into months, months turned into a year, and here we are today. No matter what happened in the last year, no matter how many times we had to gather all of our forces to stand up and keep going, we have overcome it! In light of this, the CNG Social and Emotional Committee would like to invite you to come together as a community to acknowledge the challenges of yesterday, find strength for today, and highlight our hope for tomorrow.
In the days ahead, and to help us unite as a community, all families and staff will receive a small candle to be lit during this event. Please join us in solidarity with our community, to shine the light ahead.

Hace un año todo cambió. Para los profesores, para los padres de familia, para los alumnos y para el mundo. Nos vimos obligados a separarnos y a enfrentarnos a las incógnitas de la cuarentena, al miedo, a las malas noticias así como a las buenas noticias, a la esperanza y a una interminable repetición de todo esto. Las semanas se convirtieron en meses, los meses en un año, y aquí estamos hoy. No importa lo que haya pasado en el último año, no importa cuántas veces hayamos tenido que reunir todas nuestras fuerzas para levantarnos y seguir adelante, ¡lo hemos superado! En vista de esto, el Comité Social y Emocional del CNG quiere invitarlos a reunirse como comunidad para reconocer los retos del pasado, encontrar fuerzas para hoy y resaltar nuestra esperanza para el mañana.
En los próximos días, y para ayudarnos a unirnos como comunidad, todas las familias y el personal recibirán una pequeña vela que se encenderá durante este evento. Por favor, únanse a nosotros en solidaridad con nuestra comunidad, para hacer brillar la luz del futuro.
