Next week CNN will be hosted by Penmac Staffing at the
Coffeyville Aviation Heritage Museum at Pfister Park.
Coffeyville Community College;
  • They will offer CPR classes through a new community outreach program. Classes will be April 30 and May 14th.
  • Graduation will be May 8th at 10am at Nellis Hall.
  • Also on May 8th at 1pm will be the Dick Foster Memorial at Nellis Hall.
  • May 1st they will have the suicide awareness baseball game.
  • Stay tuned for this summer for a cafeteria renovation project.
  • Ravens on Fire. Congrats to the National Basketball Champions and to all the sports. From soccer & track to football and more, the Ravens Athletic teams have been on been on an amazing winning streak!

Jaime Grant; Coffeyville Recreation Commission:
  • It's time for the Annual Youth Fishing Derby! Sunday, May 2nd at LeClere Park-FREE OF CHARGE! Registration: 1pm-1:30pm. Official Fishing Time 1:30pm-3:00pm and awards at 3:15pm. Age Divisions: 4-5, 6-8, 9-11, 12-16 and Buddy Bobbers. Prizes will be awarded in each age division.
  • They are looking for coaches for baseball and softball!

Lee Ann Stein; Coffeyville Public Library:
  • They currently have 2 full time positions open. One is at the circulation desk and the other one is a teen library assistant. For more info, visit their website.
  • Online storytime will extend into summer with new programs coming too.
Joe Brooks; Salvation Army:
  • They are so thankful for the giving heart of this community!
  • They are open Monday-Thursday from 9am-1pm, Fridays and after 1pm are by appointment. For an appointment, call Joe at 620-870-9261.

Pat McCoy; First United Methodist Church:
  • Their community playground with a covered picnic area is located across from the Library and is open to all.
  • Their monthly special offering continues to go to assist the community through Genesis.

Sam Kudrick; Visit Coffeyville/Midland Theater:
  • The Dalton movie "Death Alley" is coming to Coffeyville! They will be showing it June 4, 5 and 6 at the FKHS auditorium. Tickets are $10/each. To purchase tickets, go here: TICKETS.

Connie Miller; Walnut Street Boutique and Event Center:
  • They will be opening up vendor booths at the shop! If you would like to be a vendor, let them know.
  • They have some giveaways going on right now for Mother's Day and Graduation. Be sure to check them out!

  • It's time for the Radio Auction! Saturday, June 5 at the Coffeyville Rec Center. Doors open at 8am for browsing and auction starts at 9am.

Chuck McFate; First Presbyterian Church/Daylight Defenders:
  • June 5th-Comet Campout and Car Show! It will be located at Pfister Park and will showcase the Comet Campers and will have fun activities like the car show, music, kites and more.

Candi Westbrook; Chamber:
  • Senator Peck will be Coffeyville during his listening tour on Friday, April 30th at 2:15 at the Senior Citizens Activity Center.
  • Hops Around Town was approved. NOW Seeking Vendors & Brewery contacts for the Brewfest on October 9th to ensure we can host the event. Contact Candi if you know someone!
